MRG parser for visual languages

The theory of visual programming languages (VPLs) is very crucial for understanding the visual programming approach. It includes basically formal models for specifying VPLs and the corresponding parsing algorithms. This paper presents a grammatical formalism and an ecient parsing algorithm for visual languages. The proposed formalism, called modi®ed relation grammar (MRG), is a restricted form...

Four Slap Fingerprint Segmentation

This paper proposes an efficient segmentation algorithm to extract multiple fingerprints from a four slap fingerprint image. The proposed algorithm divides each slap image into non-overlapping square blocks and identifies foreground and background blocks using average pixel intensity in that block. Blocks are joined to find the foreground block’s connected components. Finally clusters containin...

Postoperative analgesia for arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery: a comparison between subacromial and interscalene levobupivacaine Artroskopik rotator kaf cerrahisi için postoperatif analjezi: Subakromiyal ve interskalen

SLAP: Silicone Illuminated Active Peripherals

We present SLAP, a system of tangible, translucent widgets for use on FTIR-based multi-touch tabletops. Our initial widgets include a SLAP keyboard, button, slider, knob, and lens. SLAP widgets add tactile feedback to multi-touch tables, improving input accuracy. They can be relabeled dynamically via table rear projection, and provide inexpensive, battery-free, and untethered augmentations for ...
